An essential oil diffuser bracelet is a fabulous resource to have in your essential oil kit. You can take the scent of your favorite essential oils with you everywhere — right on your wrist!
Essential Oil Diffuser Bracelets
There are loads of essential oil bracelets available today — to suit any style and need. You can make your own with your favorite beads and a few air-dry clay beads. There are lava beads, leather bracelets, and charm bracelets.
What are they for anyway? A diffuser bracelet is a great, portable way to take your favorite essential oil blend with you everyday.
No matter the type of diffuser bracelet you choose, they all work basically the same.
Simply add the essential oils to the bracelet (on the cotton bad, the clay or lava beads, or directly to the leather). Let it dry before putting it on (to avoid any possible skin reactions from undiluted essential oils).
Ready to pick out your favorite?
1. DIY Diffuser Bracelet
If you like to customize your own diffuser bracelet (the bead section at Michael’s is one of my favorite places!), then this is the project for you. After making a few clay beads you can customize your bracelet to your heart’s content.
You’ll need your favorite beads, some air dry clay to make a few beads for your essential oils, and some stretch elastic cord.

Using your DIY diffuser bracelet couldn’t be easier! Add 3-4 drops of your favorite oil or blends to the clay beads and enjoy the aroma all day. (Here’s another bracelet tutorial too.)
2. Lava Bead Essential Oil Diffuser Bracelets
A lava bead bracelet is just as easy to make. Simply string beads and a few lava beads (make sure you purchase natural beads that aren’t coated in wax so they will absorb the essential oils), knotting off the ends.

If you’d prefer to purchase your bead diffuser bracelet, lava bead essential oil bracelets are a great choice.
I love the natural lave stone bracelets. They are a great option for kids (and moms) — you could even get matching bracelets in just the right size (I love that you can customize the size of your bracelet at Drops of Joy).
How to use a lava bead essential oil bracelet – just like the DIY diffuser bracelet! Add a few drops of your favorite oil to the lava beads. Tip: there’s no need to apply essential oils to every single bead!
3. Leather Essential Oil Diffuser Bracelets
If a leather bracelet is more your style (or you want something easy for your kids to wear) there are plenty of those too!
Tutorial: DIY Leather Bracelet
I don’t really make many leather items – it’s just easier to purchase them! Here’s a link to some of my favorites from Amazon. There also a great choices for the man in your life who wants a more masculine look.
How to use a leather essential oil bracelet – Add 3-4 of essential oil to the leather band (or the cotton bad for charm section if the bracelet has one), away from your skin.
4. Essential Oil Charm Diffuser Bracelets
These are hands-down my favorite types of bracelets (and necklaces!). With a charm-style bracelet, there’s a locket-style area with a small felt or cotton pad.
My favorite bracelet (this one!) is a style that works well for going out or to church, anytime you want something that kicks up your style just a notch.
How to use an essential oil charm bracelet – add a few drops of essential oil to the felt pad before placing it inside the charm holder.
Essential Oils Blends for Your Diffuser Bracelet
Now that you know all about the different styles of essential oil diffuser bracelets (and how to use each type of bracelet), what are you planning to diffuse?
I have a few ideas for you!
Because you only need to add a few drops of essential oil to a bracelet, I prefer to make a ‘master blend’ of a few oils, including them all in one 5ml bottle. Then, when it’s time to use it, just add 1-3 drops of the blend to your favorite bracelet.
Each blend below is meant to be combined in a 5ml bottle and used in this manner.
